Last night, we went and witnessed Kingdom of Lote, the first play by Suli Moa at Mangere Arts Centre.
The work is highly energetic, filled with lazzi in the style of televised rugby replays and of course, the real star: lea fakatonga or the Tongan language.
Standout performances like the language come from women: Sesilia Pusiaki and Litea Aholelei.
There are three more shows, tonight, Friday and Saturday night at 7.30pm.
