Random Bike Rides: Grey Lynn

Today, our director, Louise Tu’u ventured to the suburb where she grew up, Grey Lynn, for work.

Riding from Ōtāhuhu to the train station, she caught the train to Newmarket train station and from there, caught another train to Kingsland. From there, she biked up Bond St bridge, where those low gears came in handy and then onto Great North Road towards Grey Lynn Park.

From there, she ventured to the Grey Lynn Community Centre for more work and then travelled back home in reverse. There were short and intense hills with clear skies and no rain.

This was the only picture she took of her journey i.e. her backpack, as she was engrossed in her work and forgot to take a photo.
