Last night, our director did a speedy ride for her (35 minutes) from Ōtāhuhu to Māngere Town Centre, as she didn’t want to miss the festivities at the Māngere Xmas at the Bike Hub.
Trying out a new route from Driver Road, Louise turned right onto Tennessee Ave and left into Cleek St, riding down into Ferguson Road and then Yates Road. Thank you to the random light truck who rode at the same time as Louise, thus preventing one of the loud dogs on Ferguson from being too friendly.
She then rode her usual shortcut of Wickman, Garus and then Bader Drive. Traffic flowed more freely than usual, which was kind.

The party was still on and Louise met new and old friends at the Bike Hub, including MC Emily Worman, magician Alan Worman, Teva Chonon from Bike Auckland, Georgina and Vernen from MEFS and some of the awesome Triple Teez team themselves: Simon, Colin and Mr T. Thank you too for the free and cool t-shirt. “You Know” who won the e-bike draw was an amazing and calm performer under pressure, tossing the winning bike tyre onto the ring. You could hear a pin drop.

Heading back home, Louise decided to ride back on Bader Drive and then turn left onto Wickman, Tennessee and then onto Massey Road to home.
