The Healthy Homes Initiative is run by most District Health Boards (DHB) and is able to help you if you meet the following criteria:
* Families with children in the home that are low income based on the Community Services Card threshold. *NZ citizen or permanent resident living in the home.
And one of the following:
- Individuals with Rheumatic Fever (receiving Bicillin Injections)
- Pregnant women/ people and families with newborn babies
- Overcrowded households
- Whānau who live in homes with children 0-19yrs old who have been hospitalised with a preventable hospital admission (e.g., Pneumonia, Bronchiolitis, Past episode of rheumatic Fever, meningitis)
- Families that are receiving a benefit
