Here are beautiful photos, taken by the awesome Anaru, from the most recent rehearsal of “Va’ine Fresh – Stand-Up Comedy Showcase“, which is on at 7pm on Saturday 27th September at Mangere Arts Centre. It is the brainchild of top comedian and actor Rhiannon McCall, who has been mentoring and championing emerging Pasifika female stand-up comics, including our director, Louise Tu’u.

Produced by the amazing Mata’ia Sarah Richards, these comedy workshops have had guest and fellow brown female comedians such as Billy T Award and Fred Award winner Angella Dravid, come in and give constructive and encouraging feedback.
