Today, we went to the fabulous Party on the Path Māngere and Māngere Bridge event.
Celebrating the new cycle path on Bader Drive, the two local hubs, Triple Teez aka Māngere BikeFit Hub and Bike Māngere Bridge, supported by Fresh Concept, Crank, Auckland Transport, twosevenfive and the local Māngere – Ōtāhuhu local board, local businesses and amazing volunteers, came together and welcomed and fed so many cyclists, pedestrians and cycle-curious folx with alofa.
The 3.5km path connects cyclists from Māngere Bridge through to Māngere Town Centre, so it’s a win win situation. Clearly signed and largely protected from cars and pedestrians, it makes cycling that much easier.
