We Should Practice is run by founding director, Louise Tu’u. She is Samoan and an experienced actor, writer, director and producer in theatre & film.
Louise started this site in 2009, chronicling her own and other artists’ endeavours in Aotearoa New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.
She has written and published two books, staged all but one of her stage plays and works on multiple creative projects, such as actively advocating for social cycling in Aukilani, particularly in the south; campaign manager for a successfully elected electoral candidate in Aotearoa’s 2023 General Election and is writing her next book.
