Tonight, we went for the first time to the Friends of the Art Gallery talk at the Auckland Art Gallery. Welcomed by the friendly security guard and the secretary, we were curious to hear Auckland-based installation artist Anthony Cribb talk about his practice.

Titled, “Galleries get weirder when you think about them too much”, Cribb´s talk highlighted five of his most recent works in a variety of settings, his method of numbering, falling out of trees and landing in mud, collaborative devising and the wonders of remilling works post exhibition.

Big ups to Cribb for sharing his work with self-deprecating humour and the Friends for sharing Cribb with us.
