Yesterday, we giggled and guffawed at the delightful debut play, “Luncheon” at the Basement Theatre from award-winning journalist Aroha Awarau.
Featuring a stellar cast, killer dialogue and finely executed comic timing and set design, we were thanking our lucky stars that we managed to get in.
Most of the season has been sold out, with an extra matinee added to cope with the demands.
Awarau’s debut short film, Home also premiered last night at the Wairoa Film Festival.
His is definitely a star to watch.
