For the past two Wednesday evenings, our director, Louise Tu’u, has been learning how to fish, sew straight and pivot as well as making groovy items such as a headscarf and tote bag with the wonderful Sarah Lancaster from Sew Love Tea Do.
Sarah runs workshops for beginners to advanced in her wonderful studio, simultaneously making you feel at home and eradicating bad memories of intermediate school sewing teachers.
Her patience, enthusiasm and expertise really does make one concentrate on making something beautiful and have a natter about one’s day or week.
