A desire path is a trail that diverts from a planned path.
It usually represents the shortest or most easily navigated route between an origin and destination

Based at the Ōtāhuhu Town Hall on High Street, markets for the next 3 Thursdays and out and about in other parts of Ōtāhuhu, Desire Paths are a mixture of structured classes and improvised openings with Ōtāhuhu locals, learning new skills in acting, dance and cycle maintenance from Cyc Ōtāhuhu. If that’s too much movement for you, you can also join us for reading, crafting, admin help and other low- key interactions. All for FREE.

This morning, we launched softly at the Ōtāhuhu markets with the awesome support of Lisa Lee from the City Rail Link team. Come join us with the shortest path, being locals, to learn something different and experience the rough and ready that is Ōtāhuhu.
We publish the schedule here weekly.
Next session is Friday 19th June 2-4pm at the Ōtāhuhu Town Hall, with admin help from 2-3pm, followed by screen acting from 3-4pm.
Proudly supported by the Mangere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board and a QPSANZ Local Peace Grant.
