Over the last two days, our director, Louise Tu’u reprised her role as one of the stage managers and MC at this year’s Big Screen Symposium, held at the Arts and Education Building 201 of the University of Auckland. Louise’s role involved introducing and wrapping up sessions including several experienced, talented filmmakers, producers, writers, directors, composers, actors to eager audiences, facilitating volunteers, technicians and keeping each session under time.

Here she is in the blue vest, wrapping a session before morning tea, hence the exodus. Thanks to Nikolai Puharich for the photographic evidence below.

Fa’afetai tele lava to the Big Screen Symposium crew for asking Louise back and your wonderful mahi: Dale, Nia, Marc, Esther, Sara, Emma and the team, as well as the amazing speakers and delegates who Louise met, listened, introduced, reconnected with and laughed with. Here’s to another year of creating, developing and watching movies, television, animation, web content, music being made by human creatives for other humans.
