We have one and a half weeks left of our pop-up residency, Desire Paths. Week 4 saw us engage with more locals, who invited our director, Louise Tu’u, to join them for the South Auckland Seniors Youth Association celebration last Sunday 12th July.
A celebration for Matariki, deputy chair of Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board, Christine O’Brien, was the guest speaker, sharing her whakapapa, inviting us to share a moment of silence to remember those who passed in the last year and to dream ahead for the coming year.
Sunday just gone was also the final aluminium can collecting event.
We are excited to share that we have partnered with Tōia Otahuhu Library, to bring two free bike maintenance workshops, happening this Thursday 23rd and next Thursday 30th July from 3-4pm in the Mullins Room. Bring your pushbike and get it fixed for free.
