This morning, we decided to go with the short film idea.
So our director, Louise Tu’u got out her camera to get used to handling it again.
She calls this step, ‘ Do I really want to commit to making this project so let me touch the main thing I need for it.’ It is moments of shame and guilt at neglecting this expensive piece of equipment, combined with wonder that maybe now, actually most definitely, it is vintage and not made for filming.
This lunch bag is what Louise uses to store her main lens that came with the camera.
So what do we shoot? Should Louise write something first or just wing it? Or put it back into its case? She’s decided to charge the flat batteries and test it out.
