Aotea Square gets dolled up

We just returned home from a ta’a (wander) around town and got excited by what looked like markets again in Aotea Square. We ventured closer and entered the most organised markets ever.

It turns out that the markets form part of the Taiwan Cultural and Traditional Games Festival. There are clearly signposted “Lost Children” and “Medical Centre” tents, an area for the 1st Taiwan Film Festival, impeccably clean recycling stations and plenty of food.

It’s on tonight till 10pm and tomorrow from 10am-6pm. Entry is free.
