Tonight we were privileged to be invited and attend the opening night of Q Theatre.
Quite simply an amazing welcome from all, especially the Mayor Len Brown, whose opening speech was positive, playful and may be singlehandedly responsible for pirate hats being the next thing on the catwalk.
Another standout speaker was Justin Lewis, whose dogged determination was the face of so many from the New Theatre Initiative, who over the last 15 years have simultaneously fought and worked with bureacracy to get this place up and running. Justin’s words were a call to arms to become a Q space invader.
