Media vita in morte sumus – In the midst of life we are in death

We’ve just left the theatre and need to process the humanity, alofa and grief we witnessed in Hone Kouka‘s TŪ in the Rangatira at Q.

Inspired by Patricia Grace‘s novel, TŪ portrays the romanticism and reality of war, wasted potential and its consequences for its descendants onstage for all to bear witness, which brought us to silent tears.
