We are still reminiscing and laughing out loud this week about Hayley Sproull‘s latest work, Vanilla Miraka at James Cabaret, directed by the multi-talented Jo Randerson and produced by the progressive Taki Rua.
Brave, cringeworthy and unapologetic, Sproull’s comedic solo show ventures into her kaupapa Maori, paucity of knowledge about it and her travels to Delhi and Dargaville to improve it, are nothing short of brilliant.
