Fakaalofa atu ki a mutolu/Hello to many!
On this beautiful, sunny and particularly hot afternoon, we ventured to the Otara Kai Village, where the WOW (Woman of Worth Girls Club), were serving hungry locals and from abroad, free ice-cream with a topping of their choice. This is their first local community activation for the next three months.

WOW was started recently by multi-hyphenate creative and Niuean cultural leader, Candy Tusini-Rex, who saw a need for young industrious, friendly and local women, to initiate, use and engage their peers, families, friends and Otara locals to connect with each other in fun, family-oriented and safe ways.
These women from WOW are also current students of Tangaroa College, with Candy, being a proud alumna. Candy also curated the wonderful display of her handicrafts, celebrating Niuean Language Week.

Fakaue lahi/ Many thanks to Candy, WOW and one of the awesome locals and mums, Marion for sharing their stories.
Monuina e aho/Have a nice day!
