Tip 7: Acting in commercials for Pasifika women

Everyday until next Wednesday 14th December at 11am when our director, Louise Tu’u, will do her free Facebook Live, a new tip from from Louise Tu’u upcoming e-book, “Acting for commercials for Pasifika women” will appear here online. We are pre-selling this beauty now. Buy it here. (NB: You can’t actually. Read why here).

Tip 7: Make sure you are actually available for the audition date and time, recall date and time (if there is one) and the shoot dates.

This is SO crucial that if you can’t make one or any of the dates, you need to let your acting agent know IMMEDIATELY. See how I used that word in Caps Lock? It’s because the consequences are very risky if you get the job and suddenly, you remember that you’re already booked for a family reunion, a meeting in Australia, whatever. It’s very unprofessional and reflects poorly on not only you but your agent and casting director, as we all believed you knew your own diary.

It sounds harsh but as a minority woman, you are already very easy to recognise and memorable. Please make good memories not just for you but for the rest of us who are Pasifika women too.

This is our director, Louise Tu’u in this!

If you want to finish your creative projects or brainstorm creative ideas for you, here’s how you can work with me.
